About I-44 Truck Center
I-44 Truck Center and Wrecker Service was started in 1990 by Mark Robbins, who operated a single road service pickup truck while his wife Gail picked up and delivered parts. After a few years, they moved into a small building, performing light and heavy truck repair.
In 1993, Mark purchased his first heavy-duty tow truck. Two years later, as the company grew, they moved into the building they now occupy.
I-44 Truck Center and Wrecker Service wasn’t just a towing company – they also offered the convenience of a full-service repair shop. Customers could have their vehicles not only towed, but also had the option of quality repairs done by the same company. On top of repairs at our shop, we also provide 24-hour roadside assistance to ensure drivers can get back on the road at any hour of the day.
Through the years, Mark’s true passion has been heavy-duty recovery work. He has performed extraordinary recoveries — uprighting, winching and towing loaded semi-trucks, tankers, cement mixers, all types of construction equipment and more.
Today, I-44 Truck Center and Wrecker Service has five locations across Saint Clair, Rolla, Pacific, Sullivan, Saint Robert, MO, and the surrounding communities, alongside a fleet of heavy-duty tow trucks from 35 tons to 70 tons including three state-of-the-art rotators.
